Return Statement

As a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you, or someone you appoint, receive the device. You don't have to give a reason.

To withdraw, tell us before the 14 days are over: email contact@timerecap.com, or send us the model withdrawal form below. You don't have to use the form. Then send the device back within 14 days of telling us.

Every customer, consumer or business, gets a 60-day risk-free trial. If TimeRecap isn't for you, you can return the device within 60 days of delivery and get the price back. No reason needed.

For consumers, the trial extends the legal right of withdrawal: the first 14 days are the legal right, and the trial covers the days after that.

To use the trial, email us within 60 days of delivery and send the device back within 14 days of that email. Return it complete, with the prism and the prism holder, and without damage beyond trying it out.

The trial covers the device. Premium subscriptions you bought separately follow the Software Terms of Service.

Email contact@timerecap.com with your order number. We reply with the return address.

Pack the device well, in its original packaging if you still have it, and send it with a tracked shipping service. You pay the cost of sending it back. Keep the proof of shipping until you have your refund.

Is the device faulty, or was it damaged on arrival? Then it's a warranty claim, not a return, and we pay the shipping.

We refund everything you paid for the device, including the €10 deposit for pre-orders and any delivery costs.

We refund within 14 days, once we have checked that it is complete and undamaged.

We refund to the payment method you used, unless you agree to something else. The refund costs you nothing. The cost of sending the device back is not refunded.

You may handle the device the way you would in a shop: set it up, connect it and use it to try out tracking. That doesn't reduce your refund.

If the device comes back damaged or incomplete, for example scratched, with a missing prism holder or with an opened housing, you are liable for the loss in value. We deduct it from your refund, and tell you how much and why. If we have already refunded you, we send you a request to pay it, with photos of the damage.

You can get your €10 pre-order deposit back at any time before you pay the remaining amount. Email us from the address you pre-ordered with. We refund it within 14 days, to the payment method you used, and give your spot to someone else.

Already paid the remaining amount? Then the right of withdrawal and the 60-day risk-free trial apply as described above, and we refund the deposit with the rest of the price.

Business customers don't have the legal 14-day right of withdrawal, but they do get the 60-day risk-free trial.

After 60 days, you can no longer return the device for a refund. If something is wrong with it, the warranty applies.
