These terms apply when you buy or pre-order a TimeRecap device, as a consumer or as a business. The TimeRecap app is covered by the Software Terms of Service.
TimeRecap is a product of eMindBrowser BV, Schoolstraat 24 8530 Harelbeke, Belgium. Enterprise number 1006742907, VAT BE1006742907. You can reach us at contact@timerecap.com.
These terms apply to every order and pre-order of the TimeRecap device placed on timerecap.com or through a quote from us.
They apply to consumers, who buy outside their trade or profession, and to businesses. Where the rules differ for businesses, this is set out under Business customers.
The TimeRecap app and the Premium plan are covered by the Software Terms of Service.
The TimeRecap device comes with the prism and the prism holder. A USB-C cable is not included.
Every device includes 3 months of Premium for free. After those 3 months, your account moves to the free Basic plan, unless you choose to subscribe to Premium.
Prices are in euros. Business customers see prices excluding VAT, consumers see prices including VAT. The total price is shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping in Europe is free.
Pre-orders for the first production batch get the early-bird price of €95 excl. VAT. You pay the price shown when you place your order or pre-order. Later price changes don't affect it.
If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we tell you before shipping and you can cancel at no cost.
The first production batch is limited to 200 devices. Pre-orders close on 15 December 2026, or earlier once all 200 are taken.
A pre-order costs a deposit of €10. The deposit reserves a device for you at the price shown when you pre-order, and is deducted from that price.
Once production is under way, planned for January 2027, we email you a payment link for the remaining amount. You then have 14 days to pay. Your purchase is final once you have paid. If you don't pay within 14 days, we cancel the pre-order and refund your deposit.
Changed your mind? You can get your deposit back at any time before you pay the remaining amount. Email us and we refund it within 14 days, to the payment method you used. After you have paid the remaining amount, the right of withdrawal and the 60-day risk-free trial apply.
We expect to ship pre-orders in February 2027. This is an estimate. If the date moves, we email you the new date, and you can cancel for a full refund.
To order, choose the device on the product page, enter your details and pay at checkout. Before you pay, you see an overview of your order and its total price, and you can correct any mistakes.
After you pay, we send an order confirmation by email. For regular orders, the contract is formed when you receive that confirmation. For pre-orders, it is formed when you pay the remaining amount.
Businesses can also order through a quote. The contract is then formed when you accept the quote in writing.
Payments on the website go through Mollie, a licensed payment provider. You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, such as Bancontact, iDEAL or a credit card. We never see or store your card details.
Regular orders are paid in full at checkout. Pre-orders are paid in two parts: the deposit at checkout, and the remaining amount through the payment link we email you.
Business customers who order through a quote can pay by bank transfer. Invoices are due within 14 days.
We deliver in Europe, free of charge and with tracking. Delivery times, and what to do when a parcel is late, damaged or lost, are on the Shipping Policy page.
The device becomes yours once it is paid in full. For consumers, the risk passes to you when you, or someone you appoint, receive the device.
Consumers can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the device, without giving a reason. This is your legal right of withdrawal.
On top of that, every customer, consumer or business, gets a 60-day risk-free trial. If TimeRecap isn't for you, you can return the device within 60 days of delivery and get the price back.
In both cases, you pay the cost of sending the device back. How to return a device and how refunds work is on the Return Statement page.
Consumers have a legal guarantee of 2 years from delivery. Business customers get a warranty of 1 year from delivery.
The device needs the TimeRecap app and cloud to work. We keep them running and send firmware updates for at least 3 years after delivery.
The device works with the TimeRecap app at app.timerecap.com, which needs an account. The Basic plan is free, the Premium plan is a paid subscription.
The app and any subscription are covered by the Software Terms of Service. When a business tracks its team's time, the Data Processing Agreement also applies.
A business customer buys the device for its trade, business or profession. For business customers, these rules apply on top of the rest of these terms:
• The legal right of withdrawal doesn't apply, but the 60-day risk-free trial does. • Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Late payments carry the statutory interest for commercial transactions. • The warranty is 1 year from delivery. • Our liability is limited to the price paid for the device concerned. • Your own general terms and conditions don't apply, unless we accept them in writing.
We are liable for the device as the law requires. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue or time that wasn't tracked or billed, unless it is caused by our intent or gross negligence.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, our liability under product liability law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as component shortages, problems at our suppliers or carriers, strikes, natural disasters, epidemics or government measures.
If such an event delays your order, we tell you as soon as possible, with a new expected date. If the delay is longer than 30 days, you can cancel the order and get a full refund, including any deposit.
Not happy with something? Email contact@timerecap.com with your order number. We reply within 5 working days and try to solve it within 14 days.
If we can't find a solution together, consumers can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst). Consumers in another EU country can also ask the European Consumer Centre in their own country for help.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) doesn't apply.
Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of our registered office. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can also go to the courts there.
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our products change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
